About these terms

These terms cover your use of the Slowtale website and describe the planned purchase model for Slowtale: Slow Text Adventure. The app is not yet publicly linked for download here. Availability, compatibility, and final purchase details will be shown in the App Store and in the app.

Stories and purchases

The app is free to download. Each launch story has a free opening, with an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase to unlock the remainder of that story. The Salt Road is $3.99; Floor Twelve and Winter Under Glass are $2.99 each, in US dollars on the US App Store. Regional prices may differ; the price displayed by Apple at purchase controls.

An unlock applies to the named story. It does not buy a subscription, every future story, or ownership of the story’s copyright. Eligible story purchases support Apple Family Sharing under Apple’s rules. App Store transactions, billing, refunds, and restoration are handled through Apple and subject to Apple’s terms.

App license

Use of the app is subject to the license terms presented with its App Store release, including Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable. Your legal consumer rights are not limited by this website.

Story pacing and availability

Slowtale stories unfold over real days. Listed durations are approximate and may vary by path and play. Lock Screen and Live Activity behavior depends on a compatible device, iOS version, permissions, and system settings. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular release date.

Our work and your use

Story text, branding, artwork, and website content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may browse this website and use the app for personal enjoyment under its license. Do not redistribute paid stories, interfere with the service, or misuse support channels.

We aim to keep this site accurate. Features, availability, and future catalog details can change. Nothing here promises a regular story-release schedule. Illustrations are labeled and are not representations of final app screens.

Liability and your rights

The website is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses from using it or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
